Bio

Casey Lee enters his first season as an assistant coach with the Lassen baseball program in the 2021-22 school year. He is responsible for coaching the outfield and is also the first base coach.

Prior to Lassen College, Lee was an assistant coach with the Lassen High School Varsity baseball program during the 2020-2021 school year.

Prior to coaching, Lee served 11 years in the United States Army. He spent eight of those years as an interrogator where he deployed overseas three times in support of anti-terrorism operations. His final three years in the Army were spent as a recruiter in Reno, NV where he eventually ended up as the Station Commander for the Reno Army Recruiting Station. Lee was honorably discharged after fulfilling his third contract and finished his career as a Staff Sergeant.

Lee hopes to leverage his vast leadership experience with his passion for baseball after picking up coaching only five months after separating from the Army. Coaching has been a direct avenue for Lee to continue developing young adults and helping them realize their true potential. Lee is currently enrolled at Lassen College as he utilizes his education benefits via the Montgomery GI Bill. He is studying English and plans to become an English professor while furthering his college coaching career.
