On Tuesday, the Lady Cougars hit the road to play a make-up game versus Consumnes River College. Lassen jumped out to an 11-2 lead at the end of the first quarter and never looked back, winning the game 57-42.
The Lady Cougars were led in scoring by freshman Soleil Cariaga with 17 points and a team high 13 rebounds. Freshmen Haylee Sethman added 13 points. Sophomore center Saniya Walker logged five blocked shots.
"Our defense played very stingy tonight," said Head Coach Derrick Jackson. "We forced Cosumnes into tough shots and a low shooting percentage."
The Lady Cougars will host Mission College on Saturday at 3:00pm. Lassen improved to 6-8.
