Cougars Fall to Butte
On Wednesday night the Lassen College Women's Basketball team travel to Butte College for a GVC matchup. The Lady Cougars came out with great energy and effort. They trailed 32-30 at the end of the 1st quarter No.7th ranked Lady Roadrunners.
With great defense and the ability to score the Lady Cougars would stay in the game the Lady Roadrunners would go on to out score the Lady Cougars 21-12 in the 4th quarter to seal the victory with a 67-53. Coach Jackson was noted saying if we would have played like we did last night our record would substantially better. Lassen College was led in by Haylee Sethman with 21 points and Soleil Cariaga 17pts. The Lady Cougars will travel to play on Saturday vs College of the Siskyous at 3:00pm. Their record now stands at 9-110verall and 1-3 in Conference play.
