Bio

Gracie McCoy is starting her first season as a volunteer assistant coach for the Lady Cougar's basketball program. McCoy was born and raised in Susanville, California and graduated from Lassen High School, where she led the Lady Grizzlies to a section championship in 2017.

Following graduation, McCoy attended and played basketball at Lassen College. In her sophomore season, she was ranked sixth in the state in assists, fifth in the state in assist/turnover ratio, and first in steals in the Golden Valley Conference. She was named an All-Conference Honorable Mention and helped her team earn a playoff berth. McCoy continued her education and basketball career at Corban University in Salem, Oregon where she earned her bachelor's and master's degrees. Due to the pandemic, she played three years and led her team in both assists and steals, while scoring a total of 149 points in the senior campaign. McCoy is excited to be back home in The Ville, coaching and reppin' orange and black once again.
