Lady Cougars Suffer 2-0 Loss to Shasta College
Playing their second match within a 24 hours, the Lady Cougars put in a great effort despite a 2-0 loss to Shasta College on Oct. . Lassen held the Lady Knights to a single goal in the first half and within striking range. As the temperatures climbed, fatigue and endurance began to play a factor.
"It was a terrific match to be a part of and though the away sides opportunities were few and far between, the game was kept within reach until Shasta found a gap down the flank and chipped in a cross that was not dealt with defensively," said Head Coach Imaan Kerchgani.
The team faces Feather River tonight on the road in the last game of the season.
