Lassen Sweeps Redwoods in Straight Sets (3-0)

On November 8, 2024, Lassen College delivered a dominant performance, defeating Redwoods College 3-0 with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, and 25-21. The win saw Lassen showcase strong offensive and defensive play, overpowering Redwoods in all three sets.

Lassen’s offense was highlighted by Arden Orten, who led the team with 12.5 points, including 10 kills, contributing to a solid .162 hitting percentage. Ayisha Agee also played a pivotal role, scoring 9.5 points with 9 kills and 2 errors, and Leiana Vailea added 9 points with 7 kills.

Redwoods struggled to generate consistent offense, finishing the match with just a .078 hitting percentage. Olivia Railsback was the standout performer for Redwoods, contributing 8 points, including 7 kills. Caroline Dieker and Kyla Albee also showed flashes of promise but struggled to maintain consistency.
